Yes. I provide HIPPA-safe, telehealth therapy to clients located anywhere in Colorado. You must be physically present in Colorado at the time of each therapy session.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, or EMDR, is a structured therapy that helps the brain and body process painful or overwhelming experiences. EMDR does not erase memories. It can help reduce the emotional intensity of past experiences so they interfere less with your present life.

Yes. Many clients participate in EMDR successfully through telehealth. Before beginning trauma processing, we will focus on preparation, emotional regulation, safety, and whether online EMDR is appropriate for your individual needs.

Internal Family Systems, or IFS, helps us understand the different “parts” within us. These may include an inner critic, caretaker, achiever, protector, or frightened younger part. Instead of judging or fighting these parts, we approach them with curiosity and compassion to understand what they are trying to protect.

I am an EMDR-certified therapist and have completed Level 1 training in Internal Family Systems through the IFS Institute. I also integrate mindfulness, somatic awareness, self-compassion, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Gestalt therapy, and Motivational Interviewing according to each client’s needs.

Yes. I offer a free 15-minute consultation so we can briefly discuss what you are looking for, answer initial questions, and determine whether working together may be a good fit.

Our first session is an opportunity to understand what brings you to therapy, what you would like to change, and what has or has not helped in the past. We will begin identifying your goals and discuss an approach that respects your needs, history, pace, and readiness.

Usually not. Effective trauma therapy begins with trust, preparation, and a shared understanding of your needs. Before trauma processing, we will make sure you have adequate support, grounding strategies, and a clear understanding of the process.

Choose a private, comfortable location with a reliable internet connection. Use a computer or device that allows us to see and hear each other clearly. For EMDR sessions, we may discuss additional preparation based on the bilateral stimulation method we plan to use.

Yes. Your privacy and confidentiality are essential to the therapeutic relationship. Before beginning therapy, you will receive information explaining confidentiality, telehealth practices, and the specific legal and ethical exceptions to confidentiality.
